From signals to systems.
BiCSL studies computers from the bottom up: where signals become bits, and bits become systems. We build it, measure it, then explain it.

Research areas
We work across the stack — wherever bits meet physical hardware, and wherever that boundary decides performance, cost and safety.
Computer Architecture
Data flow, parallel hardware and the von Neumann bottleneck, tested on boards we build and measure ourselves.
Hardware & Side-Channel Security
What leaks through physical signals, and how to draw trustworthy randomness from physical noise.
AI Security
How machine-learning systems fail when their training data or their agents cannot be trusted.
Programming Languages
Language design and compilers, from the lexer down to code generation.
Open science by default
Every paper, dataset and artifact — archived, versioned and citable.
The BiCSL repository gives each upload a persistent record with files, checksums, licenses and version history. Export citations in BibTeX, APA or IEEE, or pull metadata straight from the JSON API.
# export a citation for any record $ curl bicsl.kro.kr/api/records/2/export?format=bibtex @misc{bang2026implementing, author = {Bang, Jeonghoon}, title = {{Implementing Logic Gates with Acid–Base Neutralization: Focusing on the Reproduction of the XOR Gate}}, year = {2026}, month = {11}, version = {v1.0}, url = {https://bicsl.kro.kr/publications/2}, keywords = {logic gate, neutralization, litmus, electrical conductivity, XOR, perceptron, signal restoration} }
